Math & CS · UC Berkeley

Hi! I'm Angelina, and I study math and CS at UC Berkeley. I'm interested in how computational systems can be redesigned to make better use of the hardware they run on. In my free time, I enjoy hacking on things :) Most recently, I improved the execution of deep learning models by optimizing their underlying computational graphs and built a device that acquires and interprets real-world signals for medical diagnosis. My invention is currently patent-pending from the USPTO!

Additionally, I’m a member of Berkeley's varsity policy debate team and competed all four years of high school. During that time, I placed at 25 tournaments and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Tournament of Champions. I was also ranked as one of the top four Lincoln-Douglas debaters internationally. Through debate, I’ve become very interested in philosophy, particularly the postmodernists, and in my free time I enjoy musing on whatever philosophical question happens to be on my mind.
