For four years, I spent every other weekend in a different state, speaking at nearly 400 words per minute in an effort to convince a stranger that I had somehow discovered the objectively correct position on that month's topic. Along the way, I found a community of friends who have become as close to me as family, learned a collection of niche party tricks (including how to breathe efficiently enough to maximize your words per minute), and developed a love for philosophy.

I received 8 career bids to the Tournament of Champions (TOC). I reached the quarterfinals of the TOC (2026), championed the TOC Digital #3 (2026), co-championed UNLV (2026), and reached elimination rounds at 25 national tournaments. As a junior, I was recognized as one of the nation's top four debaters after reaching the semifinals of the King Round Robin (2025). Currently, I am a member of the UC Berkeley policy debate team and plan to continue debating competitively in college.

I'm currently employed by The Harker School as an assistant upper school coach. I also worked at Harker's debate summer camp (2025) as a teaching assistant to Gabriel Morbeck, the assistant director of debate at Emory University. Starting in July, I'll work as an instructor at the National Symposium for Debate at the Flagship summer camp. In 2024, I founded Logos, Ethos, and Pathos (LEAP) debate, a program that hosts a free summer camp and maintains a mentorship program.
